A couple of things on the above statements.
1. Even USA has been a victim of the class disparity. Apparently, the middle class which has been the backbone of the US existence is almost wiped out. So now the situation is turning out to be like other developing countries.
2. The middle class in India is the driving force to making the rich richer. Considering all aspects (bureaucracy, corruption, poverty, etc.) it is amazing that the economy still has miles to go before saturation. Be a little flexible in your thoughts and you will agree to some extent (at least).

Indian Investment
As India has strengthened its political relations with the United States over years, many Indian companies now trade on U.S. exchanges. Access to corporations such IT outsourcer Wipro (NYSE:WIT) or automobile producer Tata Motors (NYSE:TTM) can be quite easily. However, given the vastness of the opportunities in the nation, investors maybe better suited in exchange traded funds that track its markets.
The easiest ways to add exposure to India is through either the PowerShares India (NYSE:PIN) or the WisdomTree India Earnings (NYSE:EPI). The WisdomTree ETF follows 187 different Indian stocks weighted by their net income. The PowerShares fund holds 50 of the largest Indian stocks. Both funds are quite liquid and the PowerShares fund is cheaper from an expenses point of view at 0.78%, however the EPI yields more at 0.92%. Both offer broad access to the Indian sub-continent and it's really up to the individual whether they would like a more concentrated portfolio or not.
Just as the Market Vectors Brazil Small-Cap ETF (NYSE:BRF) and Claymore/AlphaShares China Small Cap (NYSE:HAO) have been hits for China and Brazil, investors interested in India now have the opportunity to add small caps to their arsenal. The newly minted EG Shares Small Cap India ETF (NYSE:SCIN) follows a basket of 75 small caps and charges 0.85% in expenses.
Finally, as a play on India's trillion dollar infrastructure plan, the Emerging Global Shares INDXX India Infrastructure (Nasdaq:INXX) follows 30 local stocks devoted to construction of the nation's roads, bridges, water systems and buildings.

Outpacing China
India might give China a run for its money. According to analysts at Morgan Stanley, India's economy will grow faster than China's by 2013, with a GDP growth rate of 9-10%. They expect China to slow down to around 8% GDP growth. As improving demographics, structural reforms and globalization continue to take hold in the nation, investors can keep on seeing profits. India's Sensex has risen every quarter since Prime Minister Singh took office in May 2009 on campaign platform to cut deficits and boost growth.
The current savings rate in India is around 35% of GDP, in turn giving the nation a robust domestically driven economy. Some analysts highlight that this will be India's greatest strength as global stimulus is beginning to end. An economy that can domestically support itself will do better in times of economic cooling. A burgeoning middle class will also require big expenditures in infrastructure. The nation requires vast amounts of infrastructure projects including pollution and water systems, power utilities, light railways and airports, all of which will require large infrastructure expenditures.
In addition, the Indian government has recently taken steps to safeguard its banks and prevent overheating. The growth story in China is well documented, Brazil's rich abundance of natural resources will help propel it upwards and Russia is the tempestuous one with its political risks. India, as the middle child in the BRIC, often goes ignored from investors portfolios. However, investors shouldn't turn their backs on it. India might just be a better growth story than some of its BRIC siblings.
