‘Revenge is the purest emotion’- every word of this line depicts an intensity that may not be suiting the appetite of the human mind but come to think of it, there is 100% truth and no denial in it.
That is what seems to be the essence of the upcoming venture ‘Rakta Charitra’. On a surface, RC might come across as a regular tale of vendetta and gory violence, but after looking at the feedback from those who have watched it, the perspective must change.
Recently, Ram Gopal Varma had arranged for a very private screening of the film to his near and dear group of friends. They also happen to be good critics. All of them are dazed with the film. Right from the start titles to the end credits, not one soul moved out of their seats and they were gripped into a panorama of violent emotions, sentiments and intensity never experienced.
The common opinion given by all is RC is a hair raising experience that will prove that RGV is no doubt the master storyteller with genius material. The essence of the film is said to convey a lot of analogy on Mahabharata and though there are people doing atrocious things on the screen, each one is perfectly justified in their perspective.
The dialogues were said to be gut wrenching and the technical values were stunning. Each character is carrying an aura which develops a sense of fear and respect among the viewers.
The power of the title song has already created an air of haunting to the listeners and those who watched the movie are saying that ‘Rakta Charitra’ is not just a film but it will create a new ‘Charitra’ in the Indian cinema.
Not only that, they are sure that this will have a profound impact on each and every person who sees it. Could this be the new beginning of a history never seen before? Let us wait for it….Many say that RGV will be remembered only with this movie for ever and all his previous hits will get camouflaged.
