It is already known that Geetha Film Distributors had bought the theatrical rights for two films ‘Puli’ and ‘Mahesh Khaleja’ from producer Singanamala Ramesh. After ‘Puli’ failed to match the expectations, their focus is now on ‘Mahesh Khaleja’.
This Mahesh Babu starrer has managed to generate more hype than ‘Puli’. Even the promos, audio and other parallel promotion has ensured that the movie is in huge demand. Inspite of all this, Geetha Film Distributors have refrained from selling the movie rights to any others in Nizam and Vizag regions.
It is heard that Mahesh’ sister Manjula wanted to buy the film rights for Nizam region at a high prices of Rs. 9.5 crore. However, people at Geetha Film Distribution are so confident in the success of the movie that they refrained from selling it.
This will come as a good news to fans, as this only shows that ‘Mahesh Khaleja’ has ‘something’ in it to keep one of the biggest distribution companies in Andhra Pradesh interested. We will all know what that ‘something’ is very soon!
