Telangan Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao seems to have come out of his hangover and become alert with the formation of Telangana Praja Front under the leadership of balladeer Gaddar.
On Saturday, KCR once again took out his most crucial weapon – fast unto death – which had led to the UPA government announcing the formation of Telangana on December 9 last. He declared that if there was no positive response from the Centre after December 31, the deadline set for the Srikrishna Committee for submission of its report, he would resume his fast unto death once again. “I will start the deeksha once again and give up my life, if the Centre does not give Telangana. We are going to hold a massive convention in December and gear up the people of Telangana and party cadres for an imminent battle,” he said.
The TRS president said the movement would be totally peaceful and he had never said there would be violence. “It would be purely on Gandhian lines,” he said.
