ippatlo levu. ee year vacation antha last two months lo ayipoyindi, in fact I had to take more than 4 weeks already. we will see next year. business trips kooda I am trying to avoid for time being because there is lot of other things I need to complete on home front. |

monna India vellinappudu nenu Canadian dollars oka bank lo exchange chesanu. I asked them 1000 denomination and they gave me. after few days, I went to some other bank to deposit some money in my mother's account. that bank refused to take two notes (one each in 2AQ and 8AC) series. I told them that they were given by another bank, but no use. finally I paid reliance mobile bill with those notes.
I believe fake notes are very high in 500 denomination. I think govt should promote credit / debit cards there, it's one of the ways you can reduce currency circulation. |

New Delhi: The RBI has warned that fake Rs 1000 notes are in circulation in the country. Fake notes have been detected in the 2AQ and 8AC series.
The RBI has asked banks to be careful while dealing with these two series though the apex bank has also confirmed that all notes in these series are not fake.
The clarification comes after a builder in Chennai got fake notes from an SBI ATM in the city.
WAYS TO DETECT A FAKENOTE:
*Optical Variable Ink
The colour of the numeral 1000 appears green when the banknote is held flat but would change to blue when the banknote is held at an angle. The font size is also reduced
*
Latent Image
When the note is head horizontally, the vertical band on the right shows an image of the number 1000

ecurity Thread
The note also has a three millimeter wide security thread with the inscriptions: one thousand, the word 'Bharat' in Hindi and RBI
#
Microlettering
The 'RBI' and the numeral, "1000" - which can be viewed with the help of a magnifying glass - are between the Mahatma Gandhi portrait and the vertical band
#
Watermark
When the note is held against the light, the picture of Gandhi and an electrolyte mark showing the number 1000 appear in the white space}
