420 mams, there is a big difference between inspiration and copying,,
Anand Milind, Deva, Anu Malik comes into this category,, They dont have great talent, but enough talent to survive in the industry by copying here and there.
Ilayaraja, RDB, S Rajeswara rao and others get into Inspired category,, these people are influenced by western music heavily,. The beauty is that they have enough talent to adapt to nativity. If they have remixed/reused some other tunes, most of these are done by force by Directorts/producers..still they had their touch to enhance it,.
Another category is ARR - he is combination of both above said, he remixes his own tunes sometimes. ARR is heavily dependent on orchestrization than singers/tunes, so he tries hard to get proper set of tune ..
