Even as the Joint Action Committees in Telangana region are getting disintegrated and not taking up any action, here is a plan for yet another JAC.
The students of Osmania University and other universities are now planning to float a “Youth Joint Action Committee” in place of the Telangana JAC, to carry forward the Telangana movement. This youth JAC will comprise not only students, but also other youth including working employees and unemployed youth. “This is going to be a broader forum. It will have all sections of the youth. The actual structure will be formulated very soon,” the student leaders said.
For the first time, the leaders declared that the political JAC for Telangana had become a flop and it could not lead the people to take up long-drawn struggle for Telangana. It remains to be seen how long this Youth JAC will sustain!
