COntested and Won in 83, 85 electins on TDP Ticket and contested and elected as an independent in 1989 when TDP didn't refused a ticket for him and later joined TDP. In 1994 again won as a TDP candidate and in 1996 contested and won as a MP and entered into Loksabha before he turned 40.
