Electronics field lo 4 major areas andi -VLSI ( Very large scale circuit design...Consumer electronics like TV's etc getting smaller and smaller) -Processor design( Mobile and X86) -Companies like Intel are making traditional processors, Companies like Qualcomm are making Mobile Snapdragon processors.... -RF and Communications- Pure antenna theory, RF circuits, Cell phone design etc.... -Analog design( All electronics have to interface with the real world...starting from A/D converters all the way to I/O Devices) .
