in 20 years its the closest encounter we had with a grizzly. I came across black bears few times, while going to ski hills. about 8 years ago, saw a grizzly with cubs but from about 30 feet or so. this one is like from 5 ft.

we went for a hike yesterday, started the day with this. perfect
