nAku telisi ANR rejected kAdu pAtALabhairavi. when BN and chakrapANi wanted to sign up annagAru for shAvukAru, annagAru insisted that if he is taken as hero for all 4 movies they planned, then only he will sign the contract (shAvukAru, chandrahAram, pAtALabhairavi and peLLichEsi chUDu) with 3 different directors (kv, lv, and kamalAkara). his argument was if he is not accepted by the audience in these 4 movies then he will go back... kv preferred him as his tOTarAmuDu owing to his personality and thought would match the nEpAlI mAntrikuDu svr... rest is history...
anr rejected raktasambandham as he felt that audience may not accept him and sAvithri who were already termed as a hit pair as brother and sister.. annagAru didn't have any reservations and accepted (sAvitri pakkana already viTuDigA, pina tanDrigA, bhartagA naTinchEsAru appaTikE)..
Andhrawala was supposed to be with chiranjeevi..
yamagOla first went to SObhanbAbu he politely rejected and informed the producers to go with annagAru as his mass image fits the role like a T and would take the range of the movie to the next level..
even dil was originally planned with jr. as vinAyak's debut movie... but in the last minute ntr asked for a mass movie and that's how Adi came into picture (vinAyak had that story also written for jr. but wanted to wait until he and jr are established).. after adi, jr. opted for more mass subjects and dil went to nitin as vinay's 3rd movie
