i think your problem is outer join on two tables in same query... below query may work but may not be effective interms of performance
select 1.B,23.E
(select 2c.A,3.E from
(select A,D from 2a where 2a.C='x' and 2a.creation_dt=(select max(creation_dt) from table2b where 2a.A=2b.A and 2a.D=2b.D)) 2c, 3
where 2c.D=3.D) 23, 1 where 1.A=23.A(+) |

It worked partially..
Table 2 lo C ki multiple values vundachu, C = 'x' kooda multiple rows vundachu, we have to slect latest C='x'.
how to handle this?
EDIT:::
Also table to 2 lo record leka pothe, rows return avvatam ledu.. table 2 lo record leka poyina just B, null return avaali.. adi kooda avvatam ledu

Table 1 lo A, B ane 2 columns vunnayi.
Table 2 lo A, C, D ane 3 columns vunnayi.
Table 3 lo D, E ane 2 columns vunnayi.
For a give A, I need to get B, E.
I should get E only when C ='x', if C is not 'x' or there is nor record for A in table 2, E should be blank.
ela rayaali query?
select B, E from 1,2,3 where A = 'Given vlaue' and C = 'x' and 1.A = 2.A(+) and 2.D = 3.D
ani rasaanu, when C != 'x' I am not getting no records back, but still I need (B, null) back.
