Dorling if you want to transfer morethan $5000 best way is wire transfer. you should do from any bank in USA to Nationalized bank in India. You get the best rate. and it takes 2-3 working days. ye website kooda neeku aa rate ivvadu. BOA vaadu $45 charge chesthadu transfer fee. Still its worth when you transfer big amounts. You should transfer in US dollors only. If you transfer i rupees BOA gives you very less rate. Nationalized banks in India give the best rate.

not so small amounts ki aithe TransferWise is good option. 50-60 paise differential to USD rate, after all the fees. Almost same day deposit after verification. |

Earlier I used to use ICICI money2india... now they changed the website and its taking 5 business days - including India holidays its taking long time.. ICICI ruined the process.
