(1)No pest issues, so no pesticide is needed.
(2)No fertilizer needed
(3)Longer shelf life of the fruit
(4)Sweet, so any age people like them. |

Choose the right variety. Here is the description I copied from a website.
Fuyu are the squat-shaped persimmons which are eaten while still hard and crisp. ... Hachiya are more elongated and need some time to go quite soft before they are ready to eat. Fully ripe, they should feel squishy like a water balloon or over-ripe tomato. |

There are different varieties of Persimmon. The one you mentioned is called 'Hachiya". Adi full gaa ripe avvakapothe vagaru gaa vuntundi. Maa neighbor got that tree, and he got 300 fruits on a 8 years old plant. |
