not like that. as a company or sourcer, you can buy at cheap and store it for years so that you can sell them at prices when you think are high. in other way around, you will suddenly floods the commodity market when price are high and destroy high prices. but farmers who freshly grown and broght commodity in to market, will suffer with losses.
this is failed concept in US also.

Gochi2:I fully support corporate agriculture in India....being a farmer with 1 or 2 acres ( or 10 acres ) of land makes no financial sense anymore. These small farmers can't afford to use heavy machines and can't really be creative in what they do due to obvious financial limitations. I do not know the rest of the bill....the reasons that are mentioned in this are useful IMHO.
ee corporate farming ni US lo already tried. Too much price controlling. failed concept. That too india lo asalu work out avvadu. e.g already unnayi. fish ponds leasing ani companies try sesayi. okadu contract leasing loki enter avvagane pakka na unna most farms converted to fish ponds and also tried leasing. but entire fish market padipoyindi. Small Farmers ki proper equipment rentals afford prices lo pedithe small farmers kuda baaga success avutharu ani israel already proved it.
what modi is doing is facilitating farming prices to be controlled by corporates like reliance and adani.

3 main death points for farmers:
1. The bill on Agri market could mean states will lose 'commissions' and 'mandi fees'. it also means that other state farmers can come and sell locally where heavy competition kills prices.
2. The legislation on contract farming will allow farmers to enter into a contract with agri-business firms or large retailers on pre-agreed prices of their produce. Now corporate like reliance can do contract farming in thousands of acres in a strict low price and kill competition.
3. The Essential Commodities (Amendment) Bill, 2020, seeks to remove commodities like cereals, pulses, oilseeds, edible oils, onion and potatoes from the list of essential commodities. This will end the imposition of stock-holding limits except under extraordinary circumstances.
