Sorry to here 420 brother, be careful with your diet,long term insulin in some cases weakens bones too, it was proved in my dad's case.
Diabetes is slow poison.If you have good diet and do regular exercises you can avoid other ill effects.
Recently my brother and myself were also traced, we have just crossed borderline and under medication with metaformin and some good news is that no sugar samples found in urine.

Fasting gives an early indication , please go for an H1ABC it will give a 3 months average .

Thumbee's I have Type 2 Diabetes .. meaning my body is still producing insulin , but not enough to absorb the excess glucose that is floating in my blood stream. Type 2 can be controlled with Oral medications like Metaformin and Glimepiride. Medication are only half the deal . Other half is your eating habits ,what you eat , how much you eat etc and stress .
One way to control Type 2 is Oral Medication or extra insulin to compensate the shortage in your body and limit the intake etc and exercise like brisk walking for 40 min . With oral medication we tend to screw our liver in the long run , since medications are chemicals. But with insulin you do not hit ur liver ,but you have to endure the prick everyday.
For Type 1 , there is no choice but Insulin injections .. because your body stops producing insulin. Type 1 is inherited with Genes and Type2 is mostly due to life style or inherent problems in your liver due to excess drinking , janudice or viral infections etc

Diabeties anedi mostly genetic kadaa Bro.. so nothing we can do. weight loss and food control konchem effect ni konchem delay chestaayi ante. Alaa ani medicines daily annaa kastam.
So reduce weight for now. Aa taruvaata kooda, tappadu ante, go with medicine.
