transcripts are not mandatory but unte betteru lilliesh...mainly u need to show that you are in status through out...so surely I-20's are needed,some times even if you have I-20 they will put in a query to make sure u are properly enrolled through out and currently to confirm you are in status...ante u know the rule right, u need to enroll atleast in 9 credit hrs every sem to be in status (except summer and when u r done with all course work during thesis/project..course waiver form isthaaru appudu)...nenu MS chesthoo H1 ki apply chesinappudu naaku same query padindhi, I showed them my university enrollment for current sem and previous transcripts...so mandatory naa ante kaadhu kaani query padithe elaago dobbinchukovaali kaabatti mundey ettadam betteru |

my perception was based on what i saw in 2007-2008.. i lived in hicksville with MS students.. almost all of them shifted to Stratford and used to go hire PVT BUSES to go to stratford once in a week
The university was so flexible at that time .. classes in the weekends for far away students, Attendance baagunte minimum of 3 GPA is guaranteed You will get work permit after 6 months..
They got so many students transfers that they rented a HOTEL for class rooms.
Latest gaa maari undochu after the Trivalley debacle..

B2 to H1 ante, old days lo (2004-2006) risky matter. Ippudunna situation lo will not work out. So don't even think of it.
India nunchi US ante, F1 is best option. Ippudu malli 2 years school ki Emi veltaam anukonte, onsite options unna company lo join ayui ikkadiki raavatam better. F1 plan chesukonte matram, make sure to pick better school and plan to complete course properly. Ledante trivalley, NOVA universities laa ayite dola teeruddi |

That is a wrong assumption about Stratford in the current times. Your perception was correct in 2008. Things have changed drastically from 2009 and have concretely changed for the better in 2010 for all private for-profit schools. None of the schools are job friendly anymore. They actually never were except Trivalley and UNVA. The following three conditions have to be mandatorily met before obtaining a curricular work pertmit:
1)9 months of stay in the United States
2)GPA of three or above.
3) Two continuous terms of education at the university form which you are seeking a permit.
To obtain an optional work permit:
9 months of education and atleast 50% of the degree should be completed FULLTIME at the institution form which you are applying OPT.
Anyways - the choice are FAR LIMITED than before and the schools at which you can enroll in the VISTOR-STUDENT route and have reasonable success are very very limited.

whatever is the university - u can always shift to job friendly universities here like STRATFORD..

Naaistam Sodara: it is next to impossible to obtain an H1B from B2. One of the options with reasonable success is B2 to F1 - however it has a lot of complications too a) choice of the school b) cost approx. 35K - duration before you can work approx. 1.5-2 years etc. It WAS (in the recent past) a viable alternative but unfortunately things are changing fast. But as I said your chances of success are better than B@ to H1.
Also I recommend that you just try for an F1 from India instead of circumventing the process if possible.
