Rratna:MI lo wait staff minimum wage $2.65 /hr If they do not make a minimum of $7.40/hr ( 2.65/hr plus tips ) restaurant has to pay them that minimum wage. When you go to a restaurant pay at least 15% otherwise waiters will curse you . Businesses are not allowed to keep waitstaff tips legally.
