Kitti

ask them the XSD for the XML which is similar to copybook in mainframes. It has the rules defined how the XML should be.

Adhi vunte kani you cannot create an accurate table.

for suppose ledhu anuko

ID_XML meedha query rasi max length functions use cheyi a record thesukoni note pad meedha copy enni elements vunnayo chusi dhani batti go ahead and create the table

elements kanipettatam kastam gaa vunte

XMLSPY download cheyyi free version dhantlo

DTD/SChema tab kinda generate schema ani vuntadhi

nuvvu save chesina xml file(note pad lo copy kottindhi) isthe ..neeku XSD create avuthadhi based on that XML file that you have created.

a generate ayyina schema lo manual gaa count cheyavachu

screen shots kavali ante XMLSPY use ki mail tdp2093@gmail.com
I have recently learnt a great tummy exercise.

Best solution is use EAV pattern to design table too .
It's more like a column wise store approach . Advantage is you can store any record with indefinite columns for each record . Look for EAV pattern it's known as entity attribute value pattern in DB design

fIRST STRIP OFF THE XML BASED ON SEGMENTS AND THEN ATTRIBUTES ..

SO A SINGLE SEGMENT CAN HAVE MULTIPLE ATTRIBUTES ( FIELDS IN YOUR DB).. AND THEN PROCESS IN TO A TABLE . THIS CAN BE CALLED AS STAGING TABLE, AND THEN PROCESS FROM THERE.. ITS AS COMPLICATED AS YOU THINK..

SEARCH GOOGLE OR BING WITH XML_DOCUMENT..

fyI, DONT USE SSIS PACKAGE. IT WILL GIVE WRONG RESULTS THOUGH YOU SPECIFY XSD.
