Musicfan:Same is with Drona charya taking thumb of ekalavya thinking that he will over power Arjuna so he shouldnt have that skill of bow. But the truth is he makes a barking dog mouth shut by using arrows into his mouth, knowing this Drona takes away the skill from him..

Monna v'kai vesina thread about 64 kalalu/arts sparked this in mind.
we have 4 vedas. 18 puraanaas, 54 upa puraanaas, 108 upanishads and 4 itihaasas..
This is our rich heritage and to get the real understanding and get hold of all these one birth is not enough.. All of them written in Sanskrit and are meant to be taught in guru parampara.
We dont know sanksrit, we eradicated Guru culture and now we are stuck with no validity and credibility of these sastras.
Saffron color wearing people and peethadipathis or trust owners often refer to sastras but never give reference of which sloka it says. We have seen many deviations which are blatant lies in the name of sastras told by these people and unfotunately who has more voice, who has more followers, his sayings has become a sastra now.
Just couple of examples, recent Vinayaka Chaviti katha, we read that in Samantakamani story, Jambavati was playing in craddle, when Krishna finds the samantakamani, after the fight Krishna marries Jambavati, however she is not a baby, she is grown up and the baby is someone else. There is a saying that while Krishna taking milk from cow, sees moon in milk, Nothing can be seen in milk, its written wrong and circulated.

Knowing just vedas is not enough. Ravana is equally knowledgeble in Vedas as is Rama, however his evil thoughts made him number 1 villain in the world. Hiranyaksha is one of the best orator of vedas and upanishads, However he utilized the knowledge to find a loop hole and avoid the natural death, which means he didnt get the gist of it.. So he didnt over come. Even Viswamitra initially wanted arms to defeat vashista only to later realize that how useless they are..
Basically, these incidents prove how wrongly these people guide and take the rest into still horrible state and there by the Hindu religion is seeing conversions.
Christians lure Hindus saying their prayers can heal the issues of Hindus, if so why Christians are suffering too? They shouldn't have been suffering. Nothing against the religion, but something to think about the conversions..
We are deeply corrupted in the name of religion, we completely lost the truth of our Dharma. Hope Dharmo rakshati rakshitaha, It prevails by itself..
