bottom line: You can really never time the market. own house kosam ayithe only thing you need to think about is your job, if it is relatively safe for the next 5 years dookeyyadame because you don't need to sell the property regardless of what market does. investment kosam ayithe you got my real estate model a while ago (yes, I remember sending it to you). assume conservative interest rate and growth rates in the model and decide based on outcome.

interest rates perigithe it will have negative impact on overall RE market. but in general I don't think market topped yet; could be an anomaly for a month. probably some markets are overheated like Dallas, Houston and NJ
