Films are meant to give a social message, but not at the cost of missing out on the entertainment and Srimanthudu is one such film said Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu after watching a special screening of the film on Wednesday.
He watched the film along with MP Jaydev Galla and Rammohan Naidu and later spoke to the producers of the film and wished them on their success.
Saying that Srimanthudu was inspirational, Venkaiah said that he found the film totally entertaining. He said that the film reminded him of his childhood days and added that one must not forget their mother, village and motherland.
On the occasion, he asked the film-makers to make an entertaining film promoting the cause of Swachch Bharat, pet project of the BJP government.
