my daughter passport expired in july 2014, when they came in june 2013, she got I-94 until october 2015 as visa espiers in october 2015.
so, I-94 is not based on passport expiry (at least in my daughter case) some times it will be linked to visa expiry date.

my cousin went through the same issue...u cannot do it at the US airport...he went to Newark and checked..
either u need to go out of country and come back(which all attorneys/companies recommend bcos its less headache for them)...or you need to apply to USCIS for an extension(similar to H1 extension)...this option is better for us bcos we dont have the headache of leaving the country... |

1. you can goto any airport and ask them to give a new I94.
ma lawyer tho chepte evadu neeku cheppindi alantidi emi ledu, you have to go out of country to get new I94 annadu. kavalante try cheyyi annadu.. nenu ma BWI airport ki call cheste kallu iraggoodata annadu..
na case lo H1 extension less than one year vundani extension file chesaam, so got new I94.

Passport expiration batti when we enter country, the I94 date untundi, even though visa is valid for later date.
Indian passport renew chesina taruvata to get I-94 updated to correct date, do we need to go out of country or CBP ( customs and Border Protection ) vallu update chestara?
Has any one or your friends gone thru this situation, what did you/they do??
for example
Passport expiry Feb 2016.
Visa valid until Aug 2018
I-94 on arrival, Feb 2016. Now passport is renewed, the correct date should be Aug 2018.
So whats the process??
