I guess they go directly to trash. Inka phones ki voice mail eppudu full, you cant even leave a message. Oka vela kudirina respond chestadani confirmation ledu.
Oka consulate India lo RPO ni command cheyyalekapotondi ante okkodiki enta balupo artham cheskovachu..
Weekend full google search cheste edo forum lo oka extension number dorikindi, adi cheste ettaru phone, aadu first question how did you get this extension ani, ante last time you gave me anna.. aadu convince kaledu kaani manaki information vachindi challe ani light teeskunna, next time ettutadu anna guarantee ledu. Hope I get passport by that time.

I Went through the same hell Rao gaaru for my daughter's passport. BLS vaadu courier option antey vaadi daggara queue avoid cheyyadam kosam courier chesaanu. He made me mail the application 3 times wasting 20 calendar days in the process.
Consulate vaademo 40 days to issue new passport annadu. Tension tho kurchunna. Naa luck turn ayyi, consulate here issued the passport in 3 weeks.
BLS vaadiki call chesthey while the passport was in transit, we are sending back your application annadu. Naaku malli tension. Lucky gaa new passport was sent to me and not my application.

Fanno1:tatkal lo ade roju pasport kooda tecchukunnaru chalamanchi DC indian consulate ninchee..
tatkal ki clearance akkarledu, now tatkal is given to only real emergency cases with proof of emergency. ledante ivvatledu.
and for tatkal you will need to visit consulate, get approval and apply thru BLS. even then its not same day, takes 3-4 days

its miscellaneous service which doesn't need clearance.
80% of passports needs clearance from India. it gets complicated if you live in more places.

Miscelleneous services like name change ki clearance akkarledu... It is required only for new/renew passports.
there are two categories of passports, one issued in India,
If your earlier passport is issued in USA, then you get passport in 2 weeks. one issued in USA no clearance is required for same consulate. if issued in New york and you apply in chicago, you will get clearance in day. So basic gaa emi difference undadu processing lo.
But if your earlier passport is issued in India, before renewing, they will need clearance from passport issuing authority. Once you get into that loop, its in nobody's hands. Unless you get that clearance, passport cannot be renewed for 10 years in USA.
Without clearance consulate can give passport for 1-2 years only.
