'Maximum school grades' vs 'minimum grades with more additional activities'..
ane discussions never ending.Yevari experience valladi.rendu pakkala plus and minuses vuntaayi.
Naa openion: Kids should get maximum school grades possible along with additional activities. As I told about the Indian kids in my area when I was in PA,all of them got 4+ grades with at least one sport to their credit. Few kids also got work experience before they graduated. I want to see all-round performance. If at all, I need to compromise on something, I'll do with extra curricular activities and never compromise on education. |

Desi kids and chinks are in top league, ikkada desi kids, go to Kumon or some math classes, Reading and essay writing and then migita subjects electives like computer related courses and some foreign languages lo A to A+ is for sure, taken for granted annattu.
Indulo manollu math lo way ahead in terms of class and course. 9th grade lo already pre-calc chese vallu unnaru, Calc which is college course easy gaa 10th grade lo AP course chesi A+ techukuntunnar.
4 subjects lo 2 AP and all of them A to A+ techukoni, migita rendu like English and History lo B to B+ vachinaa 4.0 GPA overall vastundi
Idi only applies to desi and chinks.. and doesn't have to do with national averages.

ayina AP subjects lo A ante 90% and above vundali..... which is also not a simple task.... i can see people getting 80+ but less than 90 in Ap subjects is regular annattu vundi.... A (90+ vundali) ravalante adi kooda antha easy kaadu in AP subjects.... students are strugling lot in our area to attain A in AP subjects.... thats the reason I feel 4 and above is not easy task....
even in school counselrs in their speech if you have GAP 4.15 or above will get admissions (ofcourse other things also need to be look, but GPA point lo vallu cheppina score) in good universities ani chepparu.... |

it was in 2010 Dec - so i was only 3.5 yrs experience by then. I was pure C++ dev by then - no derivative knowledge, all of this i built up during my time at GS. And the 70-75k$ was quoted by the headhunter .. punjabi odu. And ppl were telling me its low,cant save much etc. ..

Monna thread lo ide cheppam gaa, normal ki advanced or honors ki GPA lo chala teda vastundi,
A+ in any of honors or AP will make huge difference and GPA goes beyond 4..

last category award in the list is for them who scored gpa 4 or above 4. nenu mottam count chesanu.... statistics are givne below
GPA 4 or above for
9th grade only 80 students and total around 700
10th grade only 60 students and total around 700
11th grade only 40+ students and total around 550 |
