NBK, we started off initially with seeds from India, then plants and seeds from local produce shops/nurseries.

Finally we figured out getting plants around may is ideal and then getting the yield will be perfect for the 3 months we have.

Some perennials, will start getting yield from june itself.

I got all of them from seeds.You can also buy plants from Homedepot etc. My vegetable bed size is 8*4 feet.I made 3 of them and a trellis with metal mesh so that beera, sora will go on the railings of the deck and to the fence.

Actually, I never buy plants.Even vine tomatoes were got from the fruits bought from Costco. Only thing is You got to do it in the pots in the month of February or March so that the decent size plants will be ready by April 15th. Yes. We bought strawberry and other fruit plants.

Naadi Bermudaa grass ye. Literally nothing to maintain. I just apply weed killer with back pack spray. Each application costs about 8 dollars and about 3 applications is enough.I also apply Miracle grow lawn food once in 2 months, again 8 dollars each.so, total kharchu under $100/- ayear.

Anybody got experience in dealing with their growth? They have already grown about 6 feet(planted in the last week of April) and not sure how tall they will grow?
