Sultan Continues To Create History On Day Three

Sultan has continued to create history on day three as the film will record three consecutive days of 30 crore nett plus business as it grosses in the range of 33 crore nett on day three. Again Eid is still on in various circuits so its and up and down scenario and final all India number will depend on where the final Mumbai figures comes out in the morning. The hold is phenomenal in Delhi / UP and Nizam / Andhra.
What is clear is that the trend is better than normal for the the third day after Eid holiday as its normally a 20% drop but here its looking to more closer to 10%. Eid falling late may be a reason for this but that will only be known over next two days.
The only film to collect over 30 crore nett in three consecutive days before was Dhoom 3 which grossed a that time record 98 crore nett while Sultan has gone to a phenomenal 106-107 crore nett. This is an all time record opening three day opening weekend beating the numbers of Bajrangi Bhaijaan which were 101.42 crore nett.
The century mark in three days has only been hit by two films Sultan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, both Eid releases and both Salman Khan starrers. |

Sultan Sets Five All Time Circuit Records On Day Two

Sultan hit five all time circuit records on day two. The circuits below not only set the highest second day figures ever but were the highest figures ever seen in these circuits on any day.
East Punjab - 4,01,00,000
Rajasthan - 2,56,00,000
CI - 1,81,00,000
Nizam / Andhra - 2,95,00,000
Odisha - 51,00,000
Delhi / UP was very close to an all time record missing by around 20 lakhs. The weekend is almost certain to be a record now as it goes past 100 crore to become only the second film to hit a century in three days after Bajrangi Bhaijaan. |

Sultan Has Two Of The Biggest Days In History

Sultan continued to create history on its second day with some all time circuit records. It has also managed to record two of the highest single days of all time. The only film to have two days in the top five, all others have one. Below are the top five single days in history.
1. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo Day One - 39.32 crore
2. Bajrangi Bhaijaan Day Three - 38.53 crore
3. PK Day Three - 38.24 crore
4. Sultan Day Two - 37 crore apprx
5. Sultan Day One - 36.59 crore
The list is dominated with Salman Khan starrers with PK the only exception. As Sultan has a second day similar to first it has chances of getting five days above 30 crore nett which has never happened before but will depend on the drops over the next two days. |
