west lo votes nothing vaadiki. they gave billions to all big auto guys in vote and seat rich Ontario. we are screwed here. for the last 25 years Alberta contributed hundreds of billions in transfer payments to so called have-not provinces like quebec, east coast and recently ontario. now no one cares about west within the country..

ontario side IT job market is okay to good I believe. however lot of manufacturing is closing in ontario due to high utility costs and taxes. Alberta, Saskatchewan in recession due to low commodity prices. Alberta being country's main engine for the last decade, that will impact Canada sooner than later.

Kubang:no salary increase for the last 2 years here, not expecting one for the next year either. job vunte chaalu anukune situation ikkada. more than 100k people lost jobs in the city, in the last 18 months. it's not done yet, worst recession here in a generation.

ikkada naa colleague okadiki condo vundi, rent ki ichadu. renter was a handyman and lost his job recently. I believe his previous employer didn't even pay for the guy's work done at his own (employer's) home. a week ago police asked my colleague to come to the condo and open the door, they told him that they suspect a suicide inside. as soon as this guy opens the door, they have asked him to step a side and go in with guns shouting to drop the gun etc. maa colleague ki fuses out..
anyway, same day (or following day) they found this handyman dead in his ex-boss's chair in his office. he was 40 years old, his girl friend is a nurse and they have one year old baby. very sad incident.
my colleague told me that the deceased person was a very nice guy and he knew him for the last 4 years.
suicide rate, robberies and other crime rates have gone up 30% in the city. the fcuking govts. adding salt to the injury by increasing taxes and cost of living to everyone. this country is becoming a 3rd world type slowly.
