yes, you can make ice cream (or very close to that), soup and many other items. very happy with the product (not me, HD  ). ikkada maaku $550 price, meeku cheaper.

I am telling you to buy Vitamix, you wont regret it. 5 years vaadina tharavatha edo chinna (really small, I can't even see it until HD exactly pin pointed it) chip on blade vachindi. costco vaadiki choopisthe, no questions asked and replaced with new model and gave back $20 or so as the new model is slightly cheaper than we paid for original one. Blendtec ane brand kooda very good ani vinna.
