ippudu chala streamline ayyindi and also time taken is also very less.. I got my kids OCI in 3 weeks.
Its all due to Sushma swaraj who streamlined the process. lekapote arachakam ee OCI apply cheyyatam.

When I got to that 3rd party service center, they really annoyed me with couple of queries which made absolute no sense. For example, Maa chinnodi birth certificate issue. Ikkada govt issue chesina certificate original theesukellanu. Adi chaaladu, we need long form that has both parents names anta. If you need that, why don't you mention that clearly on your fcuking documentation requirement list? similarly something else. Chiraku dobbi, time leka aa process pakkana pettesa. Gotcha:
120 days window. For example you apply on Jan 1st, you can enter between Jan 5th to approx end of Apr. the visa is valid for 60days from entry date and good for double entry (used to be 30 days and single entry). Process is simple, everything online

HD is going to india in aug rao garu. her 5 year visa just expired and want to apply for another one. now she will apply for visa on arrival. 4 days minimum rule lekapothe I will opt for visa on arrival every time.
once she is back, we will have to think about OCI again..

ae process aina paadu cheyyatam lo manolla kante topulu evvaru leru..
OCI is far better now.. But still long way to go.
I think they want everyone to have OCI.. or visa on arrival..

eellemma worst system abba. 5 year and 10 year visa theesidobbaranta for the last two months but they didn't tell anyone officially. ippudu aa stupid bls center ki phone sethe, max one year antannaru which is useless. I will apply for visa on arrival like I did last year.
