I don't think that is(having chocolate powder and fruits) called 'fasting', so just wanted to make know9out of curiosity)what you guys are doing.

Since I don't believe in the calorie theory,I don't have nay opinion if that is good or bad

aha , bro calories are calories does not matter if its coming from a proper dinner or breakfast . In the 16-18 hour fasting period , apart from water and flavored drinks "with no sugar , honey etc " it is advised not to eat anything . Because ,every time you eat something with carbs and protiens , your pancreas goes into overdrive and releases insulin hormone into your body there starts the overall internal straguule of inflammation, triglycerides etc etc etc ..

Well bro , since I was targeting my Diabetes reversal and get a grip on my metabolism, I was not going hard on the weight. I am happy with what I achieved until now , because all my internal organs are in sync.

I am 5.10 , was 86 kgs now 74 kgs , plan is to hit 68 kg by Feb end and build lean muscle mass.

Namaste brother , I was a type2 diabetic 12 weeks ago , not anymore, I have lost quite a bit of weight and managed to loose quite a lot of belly fat. I am slowly loosing my organ fat and get my liver back to perform optimal metabolism.

My eating window is between 7am to 11.30 Am . I eat breakfast at 7 am , with some form of carbs 20gms , fat in the form butter 30-40 gms , cheese sticks and proteins in the form of eggs , scrambled , egg white etc I do eat pea nuts , almonds and lots of greens /salad for lunch at 11.30 . I do drink lots of ginger water with turmeric in it , have 1 cup sugarless coffee or tea with cream making sure its less than 50 calories. effectively I do not eat anything from 12 noon until next day 7 Am . This is called intermittent fasting , very power tool to have a lots of energy , focus and no hunger and food craving . Also your muscle building goes faster ..

You You brothers , I see many of you guys are following the Andhraized version of Ketogenic diet . Good !

Be aware and please do not follow it blindly , please understand macro nutrients , elimination and limiting Carbohydrates is good, limiting protein is also good , but please go easy on fat aswell .Because , if you have abused your body with excess food like mad all these years , do not not expect your Gall bladder to be sharp in executing sudden excess intake of fat. Up the antenna in a gradual manner.

I am on this Ketogenic lifestyle for 12 weeks now , important pillar of the Keto is 16-18 hours fasting every day and not thinking about food at all. if possible start your fast after Thursday lunch and end it for Saturday breakfast .. aim 40 hours .

And be physically active ,do any activity that will help you breath out CO2 ..
