yes. NBK or next generation junior NTR or for that matter nobody in the film industry can fit those roles as good as annagAru.. period. but he is the one in this generation that atleast tried different roles.
fyi, a notable SobhanbAbu fan who had a very good grip on the yester year box office records, once said, "NTR movies made on his home banner even if they were not big hits, didn't incur any losses"...
now tell me what was the gap annagAru had before DVSK? that is the point that irked me in your post.. with the changing environments the current generation folks look older than their predecessors at the same age.. on top of that annagAru didn't have any drinking, smoking (he used to smoke 1 chuTTa early in the morning) issues and obviously old age signs didn't appear in his face until he reached 60s. bAlayya or for that matter nAgArjuna (who both smoke and drink) look older than annagAru and ANR when they were of that age. even I look older when I look at my dad's photo when he was my current age.
