Kakapote Evadi rule vadidi akkada enduku issues ani cheyistunnaru kani, I never did that and no one ever asked old passport for my kids

Basically its a risk whether u will be allowed to india or not at the port of entry when u go..endukochina godava ani people are doing it...nenu ilaane PIO with old passport number tho travel chesaa...in india they checked both old and new passports and allowed us in...maa cousin ki chepthe endukochina gola ani update seyinchaadu.. |

We don’t need to submit original passport, copies are enough...even now for my pio to oci they did not ask for original passport..but in your OCI, passport number is mentioned..if the current passport expires and u get a new passport, then there is a discrepancy between oci and ur new passport number...the understanding is if you carry both your old and new passports, they should allow us...but if you ask this questikn to Indian embassy, they will say you have to submit an update to OCI ani chepthaaru..then same story, update passport details in OCI anna option select cheskuni, proof(passport copy) submit chesi paatha oci card baadiki post chesthe meeku kottha card pampisthaadu with new passport number... |

Antha easygaa thappinchukundhaamane...everytime your passport is renewed u need to get your passport details updated in the oci card...there is separate process for this and my cousin did it recently...so next passport renewal ki ready avvandi oci frocess ki... |
