This is my essay few weeks back. Let me expand on it.
There are 2 philosophies that drive indian politics.
welfare vs development. Indian public have more often than not chosen Welfare over Development.
When NTR burst on to the scene.. he was a completely welfare driven leader. And he struck a chord with masses. Lets look at some old leaders and their philosophies.
NTR - welfare
CBN (1999, 2004) - development.
YSR (2004, 2009) - welfare.
CBN (2014) - welfare
KCR (2000 to 2014 - sentiment
KCR 2018 - welfare.
somehow CBN won heARTs of Young minds with dev politics.. and that is carrying forward with TTs.
Problem with dev politics is when 40% of the public is sleeping in a small room without proper food.. dev politics looks silly from their point of view.
Finally here is the winning formula:
1. Provide roti kapda makaan thru welfare.
2. Satisfy govt employees with good pay scales and benefits.
3. Dont create controversies on sentimental stuff. |

Babai - If you don't know what KCR has done in Telangana.
1. Babai - first and foremost he solved the power problem when cunning CBN stopped the power generation to create Choas in TS as soon as states got bifurcated.
2. He stopped cunning CBN from dismantling the TS Govt through vote for note case.
3. He solved the water problem in TS within One year, else Hyderabad use to get water supply twice or thrice a week.
4. He gave 4K per acre to farmers - never ever thought by anyone in India.
5. Free eye test scheme.
6. Two bedroom apartments - though running slow we should appreciate he is working on it and built some. Has anyone thought about giving away two bedroom apartments for free especially when $ is running at 70 rupees plus !

Kaleshwaram project , which will store Godavari water, Two new reservoirs of 20 TMCs for Hyderabad ,Yadagirigutta project - shaping up quite beautifully, Several temples getting facelift.

I think its a slap on our face. We need to concentrate on our own state rather than pakka state. Also T people has chosen what is best for them. Hope AP people will do the same.

Its not easy for CBN in AP, with everyone now going against him and people are not that sentiment prone as in T, and development is not the priority..

TDP kutamiki ravadam media looo hadavidi vachindi tappa...polling day rooju ootu vese buzz raledu...ee hadavidiki yellow media sahakaram kuda vunnadi..this including hyd as well..Kutapally, Jublihills winning scenarios are good examples..
Rural voting TRS ki baga improve ayyindi..example maa alampur ..last time 3rd place lo vunna TRS eesari 40K majority..raitulu, kulipane chese vallu gundu guttaga kottesaru...vallu kutami or congress ki value evvaledu and alochana kuda cheyyaledu...
