mostly now a days churches are getting converted to Hindu temples.
Churches fundings leka they are closing many churches.
I am predicting Temples will take the same route if they continue like this.
Atleast Churches ante they have it as tradition in family and they make mandatory to pay to churches
Indian generation ki impossible to fund 1/4-1/2 billion dollars and sustain it.

germany lo aithe Kirche (church) tax vuntadi..entho gurtu ledu (probably around 5%)..you can opt out to not to pay taxes, but you will not get any church services, like marriage may be during cremation etc. |

obviously, this much burden on the local people ante not sure how they can sustain after current generation runs of earning capacity. The next generation are not into that much of This path..
But what I saw the trend is normal working janta can afford 1000$ per family to temple/year.
Businessman can afford 10,000 towards temples/year.
Ultra rich can donate 100K towards temples/year.
By adding more temples, the funds gets distributed.
But the main revenue that temple gets is by organizing religious events and fund raising events.
They have become like a business models With Bhakti taking back seat.
I am closely associated with a Temple near my house and volunteer other few temples. Know how these temples function

detroit lo oka 10 years back 4-5 temples undevi, Ippudu atleast 18+ unnayi, 3 under construction and aa 4-5 kooda rebuilt after demolishing spending 8-10 million..
easy gaa oka 1/4 billion undi invested into Temples. malla vaati maintenance and mortgage and other events.

denemma gulla business ekkuvayindi ee madyana. maa voollo kooda already more than 6 temples. ippudu just venkanna ki specific ga ledu ani inko temple planning. monna saturday kalyanam chesaru for fund rising. akkada class system, front rows lo vaallaki $1,001 per family, then followed by $501 and $101. of course I never go these but wife went and not sure how much samarpayami. I don't ask because am certain I will lose temper if I hear the number and details.
