they are new too...new to America...came to USA on GC via family sponsorship 3 years or so back...all educated...doing some jobs in Delhi..
bought this farm and started doing it 2 years back..they raised loans from within the family to buy their land...their families r situated in Chicago...but these guys, both are related...baava..baammardilu and some 2 other elderly folks...all staying on farm...they built a log home and started doing 40 acres of pecan every year...they also have goats, chickens, dogs and r growing some veggies too for their consumption...

Gudivada04:its basically a nut but softer interior. most of the pecans used for making pies in the US. its good for health, but an acquired taste. buttery flavour vuntundi koddiga. they grow in the southern US. 200 years vuntayani cheptharu. chettu di wood kooda useful once its done.
Maa south lo ekkuva peacans. My favorite American desert is Peacan pie from Whole Foods. Vere chota kuda bagundochhu but whole foods one is next level and obviously no artificial ingredients

Good Goats raised in open range with no antibiotics, harmones...etc are going for 500$(adult goats)...if u can have more goats in the farmmmmmmmmm...very ez to get more secondary income...
and yes...Goats r very ez to raise than cows...

Wanted to buy more but backed away. ours is an established farm, where as you are going from raw to building an entire new farm which has even more risks. if you know everything and planned accordingly, good for you. all the best. |
