It looks the the process will have to start all over again of the bill is NOT signed before 31st. So speed is the essence here and there is high possibility that this will become the law.
If they really wanted to do it, It won't take more than 1 week. It is a very simple and common procedure |

Gochi2:What was passed in the house is different from Senate's version, with versions has to be merged/compiled in to a single bill & then will have to get the approval from both the chambers before going to president's approval. T will be gone by that time and Mr. Joe will probably oppose it by asking for more comprehensive bill to address ALL the immigration issues. just MHO, Dems will never agree for this bill without anything for illegals.
If there are no objections in House, reconcile should not take more than 2-3 weeks.
It passed with UC in Senate and Kamala is still a senator. Why would anyone oppose in house?
If it is opposed and did not pass without any major corrections, It will not pass in senate.
It has to pass in this month or before Dump leaves. |
