ring is best....100$ per year....you get alerts and can view historical alerts up to 7 days.......when you set to away mode and if alarm triggers, they will call you first to verify and also informs local police......you have to register your ring setup with local police department for a one time fee.....
most of ring stuff you can install yourself and configure. ring doorbell might be tricky but rest of everything you should be able to install yourself |

Ring is good. Front doorbell ring cam pettestaru
You will probably need to change door bell adaptor to 16v, electrician required if you can't do it yourself
Easiest ante Nest outdoor. Very easy to install, even I was able to do it |
