There are n number of factors which establish the fact that tennis is a low pressure game.
I am good at something. All I have to do is perform to gain moral support from the crowd.
> I start performing well and start winning. Opposition/enemy has split second to respond to my shot. There's no pressure of personal comments on the field.
> People who come to watch love the sport and support the better performer on the stage. There's no per country support from the audience to establish moral demise on "away from home field". I start performing well initially and start winning few games. People cheer me up everywhere I go. And there's only growth & high morale support in my career as time progresses. All I have to do is perform which I am good at.
I dont wear spects,only wear contact lens. Only code lang that i know are > c,c++,java,python, c# & scrpt lang.

The real pressure is "being abused & sledged by enemy/opposition gang", and not about the privilege of playing in a stadium with lots of cheering crowd.
In my opinion, Cricket batsman & Marked Football player ( like Messi ) have highest pressure.
In tennis both the players deal with equal pressure. Equation's actually towards the already superstar/s ( Like Roger/Nadal & Djokovic ) who have many cheering fans in the stadium.
Cricket can be cruel sport towards a batsman who may face sledging from slip cordon in the meanest & cheapest possible way. For example : Steve Waugh is regarded as the most loathed captain by opposition for employing meanest & cheapest tactics to demolish the mental toughness of opposition ( they use woman/lover in your life in the cheapest possible way to impact balance of your thoughts ). Australians are considerably the most atrocious cricketers on & off the field with all negative tactics like sledging & bodyline bowling. They complain a lot when they face tit for tat though => McGrath once was sledged by opposition and there was hungama => Somebody sledged McGrath like this => "Mate, you should go see your sick wife in hospital, I saw her yesterday ( She was suffering from cancer then ). Such a comment would have disturbed McGrath for days if not months. Similar story goes with "Bajji-monkey-Symonds" hungama.
Similar is the case with Marking in Football => You might have seen Messi being marked by atleast 3 to 4 people where teams like Argentina suffer & Barcelona win, mainly because of backup strength. Marking a person ( shoulder pushes & tactical physical abuses that don't catch referee's eye ) takes huge toll on your physical & mental well being.
All in all, Tennis is a less pressure game when compared to Football & Cricket.
The real pressure is "Many on one & not one on one".

I personally won’t put too much weight into Olympics winning as a thing to consider someone as Goat. In terms of level it’s just like another ATP tournament. It was never considered as a prime tourn to achieve until Sampras era.
Look at the history of players who competed and won i tut past. It’s just one thing that Fedal fans can argue against Djoker like the way they want. Rafa winning gold in singles & doubles; Fed winning Silver in singles & gold in doubles, winning record number of matches in Olympics and being the only player to seeded No 1 in Olympics for most number of times.
But matches like these once again showcase and remind that class is something that cannot be bought by winning more num of slams. |

Yep you have to agree what Novak has done is simply outstanding..no question about it. With the current bunch of inconsistent next gen-I am sure he's gonna easily win Olympics Gold and at least 25 slams.
All I was contesting is there's hell lot of things to consider in order to rate someone as the GOAT and ppl choose who ever they like among the greats.
This applies not just to Tennis, but over all in any sport. |

But at the end the soft qualities like being humble etc, wont count when the GOAT is calculated that is the hard truth we need to get to be with.

Yeah numbers might speak and it all depends on how media or some tennis commentators, so called experts project.
But the truth is, it's impossible to pin point one player as a GOAT. Rao garu even in the video you shared, that person there he just picked the parameters he liked and that are commonly discussed among the crowds.
If it's done by me, I would have included few more factors like the court speeds, the way the surfaces have changed over the years, the racquet technologies, the number of years consistently reaching the quarters, semis, finals, no of years staying not just in top 5,but 10,100 , generation differences etc and would have ended up concluding Fed as the GOAT.
It all depends on how you use the stats. You can't use these to compare the generations imo
Where do you rank Laver who's won the calendar slam not just once but twice -and a player like Borg whose won a number of slams when he was just 26 and retired? It's all what you want to say and what you want to believe.
To me it's still incredible to see Fed competing still at 40 and reaching quarters of a slam playing against what 20 or more younger players, by hardly playing less than 10 matches in a year.
He is once in a generation athlete where you can relate all the prime qualities - talent, consistency, dominance, class etc.
It's just that his personal qualities of being humble, playing fair and being respectful to the opponents which was hardly seen in the previous generations, added to his resume.
All these reasons added up and that's why he's regarded the greatest player the game has ever seen even by his peers. |

Yes, totally agree on his tactics to disrupt the players momentum. Even he did it recently I guess.
GOAT ante based on stats choostunnaru per the videos, but overall fedex will remain better player for few reasons that Nadal and Djokovic dont have those factors, but seems like majority are ignoring those, which are unique to fedex

So to give you a better picture, the first video bite there, where he returned 40-15 down. What Fed said is absolutely right, as Novak himself said he was unlucky to play in an era where Fed and Nadal were winning, he didn't believe much in him against these guys. Feel free to google 2009 Cincinnati press transcript - you would get that.
As far as that shot is concerned, of course Djok would know that too it was a lucky one, he just gave a shot as if it's nothing to lose being down 15-40 on a match point. That's how he plays esp against Fed or Nadal when completely down - some times it works and sometimes it doesn't - ref to 2012 Wimb Semis against Rog he similarly got one shot right and few didn't, ended up loosing.
This was said like what 10 years ago and you are saying as if he quoted recent. Rao garu really disappointed in you believing in these non sense.
Fed is a guy who is absolutely honest in any interview he does, he just talks what feels. He is the one who treats everyone fair and conduct himself with class.
C'mon he's won the best sportsman ship award on the tour like what 13 times and was on a streak until 2017?

as of now, djokovic is a machine
The french open final I saw he was not even working hard. Yes, first 2 sets lost. 1st set is pp'tanam, double faulted
second set lo he practiced the drop shots. Appudu padaledu, last 3 sets lo eppudu kavali ante appudu padindi
I didn't even watch wimbledon final after the first 10 minutes. Tennis needs a proper new challenger, otherwise nobody will care |

Ee madhyana after wimbledon, YT lo ekkada choosina videos on Djokovic.
