All inclusive resorts are very few there. Primary reason endi ante costa ricans are relatively rich ppl in central america and they dont work as hard as mexicans/ dominicans. Night 10 aithe all closed and bye bye anthe 🤣 |

But in general desis comcept is when we go to vacation it should be all inclusive resort.
That’s why Dominican Republic, mexico and Caribbean are the destinations for desis.
Costa rica too should start all inclusive

Ugly) The roads are good, but even the tiniest mountain roads are 2 way traffic. Gotta watch
They don't build a lot of roads there. Sometimes, a simple left turn on a mountain turn will not exist, you have to go like 7 kms ahead, make an u-turn and drive back on opposite way to finish a left turn 
night life was pretty boring for a latam country |

The bad) Groceries and food are as costly as US, if not more
For anyone from Carolinas/Tennessee/KY, the scenery/nature is not that special. People from bimaru states will love it though
Food is sweet, no salt and spice. If you find an Indian restaurant, it's usually limited to northie food and few south Indian items
Only one beach was decent ( Tamarindo ). self proclaimed world class town of jaco had a shit beach  |

Recently took a trip
Good) Somewhat cheaper flights from our village
You can drive across the country in 4-5 hours tops
It's clean even in remotest of places, and people follow rules like 99% of the time ( shame on you india )
People seemed genuinely happy in the cities. It was gloomy in remote villages, but that's to be expected anywhere
us Visa card works everywhere. If no cards, us dollars are accepted too. only few beachside people dealt in local curency, so no need to bother too much about unfavorable currency conversion |
