some people are not comfortable flashing roms as it may void your warranty. and not all people have time and willing to experiment these things.
Lot of my friends using android phones don't know about xda developers.
The point is Samsung should have fixed this with out the need for custom roms. They only fixed the problems in GB release. |

I bought galaxy tab (7 inch version), it came with froyo and its the worse product I ever owned. After flashing GB rom it worked fine. Otherwise it was night mare with frequent browser crashes and very slow. Samsung never updated this version to GB and I had to do from xda developers
And my friend had Samsung infuse 4g. It is also equally bad. It had gps, battery issues and the phone freezes randomly. The issues were fixed after they released GB. But it took them almost more than year.
Samsung flagship phones are exception. Galaxy s, SII, SIII are awesome even though I don't like their UI customizations.
Inka LG gurinchi cheppanakkarledu. Almost every LG phone is bad with few exceptions.
I am currently using S II skyrocket and no issues.
I have owned so many android phones and tablets. Motorola Cliq, Sony Xperia x10 mini pro, HTC HD2 (android rom), Nexus S, Skyrocket.
And tablets: Galaxy tab (7in), Asus Transformer TF300
I am not saying all the phones are bad. But some of the Android phones are crap. Hope this enlighten you. |

according to some survey android phones return rate is 90% but still in us anroid market share is more than 50%. Looks like google is faking numbers. |

samsung all the way.. I bought galaxy 2 recently for my son, fantastic phone. of course I got it for no cost with a 3 year deal with my employee plan. i could have got iphone for $150 under the same deal but took the samsung |

Best deal is Galaxy Nexus.. dual core + ics + 720p HD dispaly + unlocked for $350. |

main problem is my wife's LEGACY phone is not working. She need some kind of phone where we no need to take Data plan (She doesn't use internet or email on phone) So I was thinking of getting iphone 4s or Galaxy and give her my iphone 3GS

Android phones lo konni plain junk. Buy nexus phones, they are little expensive but worth the money.
Samsung, LG lanti companies konni junk android phones release chestunnai e.g. LG Nitro HD, Samsung infuse etc are junk
But Galaxy 2, Galaxy 3 are good. And the best phone is Galaxy Nexus. Updates will be directly from google. No carrier / OEM junk |
