Penkul - I switched to circuit training to cut down time spent in gym + more intensity.

The key is to cut down the resting period between sets and switching from part to another with 0-60 sec break in b/n. Hear rate is up all the time and can wrap up whole body workout (3 sets) in 40mins including warmup.

My trainer makes me run from 7 MPH to 10 MPH in one minute intervals. I have to jump off and hop on without stopping the equipment for quick burst of heart rate.

One should always challenge the body during a routine for maximum sweating.

I like cardio and Circuit training. My latest favorite routine is.

1. Start running on thread mill for 2 minutes at 6 mph. Jump off the thread mill without stopping it.
2. 20 Pushups, followed by 1 or 2 minutes of running on the mill at 7 mph.
3. 20 pushups + 20 bicep curls followed by 1 or 2 minutes of running at 8 mph.

You keep doing this for 10 exercises. Each time you add a new exercise. It will take more than 1 hour to complete this routine if you run for 2 minute interval.

I love this routine.
