Though the rejection of bail to YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy by the Supreme Court has come as a rude shock to the party leaders and cadres, they are putting up a brave front.
Party spokesman Ambati Rambabu called upon the party workers not to get disheartened by the rejection of bail to Jagan.
“Everybody knows Jagan is still inside the jail because of the conspiracy hatched by the CBI, Congress and the Telugu Desam Party, who had gone to the extent of influencing the judiciary. But in democracy, the Supreme Court is not ultimate. Jagan will be proved innocence in the people’s court,” Ambati said.
He told the media that the party was talking to the legal experts and considering the possibility of moving a review petition in the Supreme Court. “Even then, there will be no impact on the party. We will all go forward under the leadership of our honorary president Y S Vijayalakshmi,” he said.
