One of the most promising and talented directors in Tollywood is Deva Katta and from the start he has been famous for his movies which are quite intense. Perhaps that is one of Deva Katta’s personality trait because even his eyes are always with intense gaze. The news is that the man is blowing the steam.
Well, Deva Katta has shared his thoughts on Tiwtter wherein he mentioned some strong lines. Here’s how it goes - "This is how a 'kaiser soze' film production works: Feed few pimps to project you are rich, let them tail a hero/director, catch a project. If market value is 'x', fake your budget to 2x, borrow 2x from several financiers without each other knowing...with the film as collateral. Spend 0.5x on film, feed 0.5x to your pimps, disappear ahead or on the day of release. Whoever has to recover will release the film. You can also apply this scam for mass production under a banner or a bunch of banners.”
While it is not sure who this was aimed at, the frustration of Deva Katta is understood. The talented director has got stuck with his long pending project ‘Autonagar Surya’ starring Naga Chaitanya and Samantha. This is being made under the banner of R R Movie Makers owned by R R Venkat but owing to his hardship with his last venture ‘Damarukam’ things have fallen into doldrums. Let us wait to see if Deva Katta’s hot comments hit the right person and some change is noticed.
