Gudivada04: they haven't mow the lawn this year yet, worst maintenance and I want to ask my wife to call the owners in the US and update them

maa pakka illu oka chinese vaadu. he moved to the US couple of years ago and rented this home. first renters were indians and tehy left after few months. about 6 months ago, oka pakistani family digindi. they told owner total 5 people to stay in the house but now at least 10 are living. aadiki iddaru pellalu, 5 kids and one of the parents. they haven't mow the lawn this year yet, worst maintenance and I want to ask my wife to call the owners in the US and update them |

3 of my friends ventured into this and gave up.
Main issues
1. too many asking for repair fixes. he used to work every week fixing something or other. One guy had a new apartment, still lot of work.
2. Rent paying issues - Not everyone will pay on time, lot of followup and issues. they will not pay its very difficult to follow up and get the dues.
3. background check - mandatory, but some even though passed, damaged the property when they left. okadu invested in 4 apartments, and finally lost around 100k due to the damages.
4. Ivi kaaka main issue, they will not maintain well, finding a good tenant is very tough and they maintaining the house like we do is not possible
Dont try to venture into rental properties. its not worth it. Peace of mind undadu that too if you are investing huge.

i don't own but couple of my friends does this. lot of patience and energy needed. edanna repair vasthe own ga chesukune vorpu, skill vundali. management company ki isthe 10% to 15% commission on top of actual expenses theesukuntaru. pedda thalakayaneppi yevvaram annay, unless you have lot of time and energy |
