When I was working in India, our company was working for all japanese auto, outsourced. ofcourse they have full control and our team only was executing what they say.

software is not about working hard. Anduke Japan valla nunchi not much contribution in software. Ruby language create chesaru, so there's some hope that they can scale up though |

If you see Tesla company, they became big only by doing everything themselves. rest car companies are now trying to get into the game, but they are severely lacking
Japanese should look into what korean Hyundai is doing and copy it. Atleast that way they can survive until culture changes |

I think they are just waiting before going big into it.
Japanese are hard workers, so it wont be big for them to achieve. There might be some other reason for their delay in this area.

Honda CRV is a reasonable SUV kadaa,, doesnt honda offer in India?
Musicfan darling HONDA CRV is worlds second best selling SUV
However in India its sold upto 2018 something like that. After that HONDA discontinued
It was over priced : 45 lakhs
STILL U CAN FIND FEW HONDA crv in India
Honda is global leader brand. And known for their engines
ROVER GROUP WAS ONCE USING HONDA ENGINES in some of their models way back in 1997 or 1998
ALSO HONDA is world leader in POWER UNITS FOR FORMULA 1 cars
Mc Laren POWER UNITS ARE SUPPLIED BY HONDA
HONDA IS GREAT BRAND DORLING
THEIR BIGGEST MISTAKE IN LIFE in India is they never launched MID SIZE suv in India till now HRV (its global mid size SUV in other parts of world since last 12 years ) TILL NOW THEY DID NOT LAUNCHED IN INDIA
SUV market is a boom in India since last 5 years
HONDA still re using same 2 models by selling only 2 products
Honda city and amaze
However in 2022 Honda city sold 95,000 pcs in INDIA
Recently some announcement came that HONDA might launch some compact SUV in MAY or June 2023 in india
Still now sure which model they will launch
