If he is working on EAD now, he can't work. Backup H1 unte, he can continue with that H1 employer.
EAD meeda FT job ayite, general gaa konni companie unpaid leave meeda vellamantaaru. But major companies terminate chestaaru but he can buy insurance through cobra.
Just as FYI....
If anyone else is applying for EAD renewal, make sure to attach the mailer (barcode paper) that we get with EAD cards. This will expedite the process on USCIS side. Normal gaa ippudu 90-110 days padutundi but maa attorney specific gaa adigi teesukoni apply chesaadu naa renewal. Got it in 65 days. |

Onlymovies:Can he work? can he stay here in US? if he cant work, what happens to his medical insurance. Currently his wife is carrying.
he cannot work till the renewal comes...he can stay back in US legally as long as his I-485 is pending...his medical insurance he can take a temporary medical insurance outside at his own expense or usually companies give some cobra coverage once u run out your current job as a bridge till u find the next job....this also has some limit of 60-90 days... |

After 45 days ki SR open cheyyochu and if it is more rhan 90 days, local office ki velthe they can issue,,,,,,, but pending case tho work cheyyakoodadhu anukunta.

Ma cousin EAD expiring by month end. He applied for renewal in december end. Recently EAD renewal application taking morethan 3 months. So if his renewal is not approved by his current EAD expiry date what he has to do? Can he work? can he stay here in US? if he cant work, what happens to his medical insurance. Currently his wife is carrying.
