you should know the timings and ask him to go at that time and sit, they will automatically understand. they understand pretty fast.

usualgaa 2-2.5 kalla potty training chesthaaru...so a little late..memu 18 months appudu try chesthe we couldnt do it...then gave a break and tried again at 2 yrs and it worked... |

is little bit late for this. kids should be potty trained before they go to pre-school, which is 3.5 years.
But general gaa 2-2.5 years ki they will get trained.

Montessori school ki velle vaadu, 3 months Goddard and 3 months Montessori. ippudu intlone vuntunnadu.. wife stopped working. malli next year choodali after my wife get H4 EAD.
School lo bagaane aadukunevaadu.. only food daggare vachedi akkda tinipincharu kada.. so next year lopu konchem practice cheddam ani vaadu tine la..

too much expectations emo OMesh, at 2.5 years ante. They will try to eat only if it appears fancy to them. This is the age which they don't have focus to do a task at a single time sitting at one place, they are keen on playing only and forget to keep track of what they are doing.
Make him practice to eat for some time putting in high chair, engage him, make him to eat and at the end of the time when they get bored, you feed. Slowly make sure their time increases and your time decreases. Long time taking process, but no choice.
Mainly try with food that they can handle easily with hands and without any external tools. As long as they can do that they are fine. Spoons vagaira ante it will take 2-3 more years.

2.5 is early maastaaru...eee age lo finger snacks thappa mana indian foods thinaleru on their own...memu daycare ki pampinche vaallam kaabatti we used to pack some pancakes/Omlette/cheese sandwich/Roti cut into pieces with egg bhurji, Yogurt type things for lunch (That too for those days where they don't have veggie lunch provided at school...)..Veggie lunch unna roju our kid used to eat there, Mac and Cheese, Pizza, Salads etc...daycare lo sonthagaa thinaali kaabatti pakkana kids ni choosi nerchukuni thinesthaaru
edi emaina valla own gaa thinaalante sarigga thinaru...so puddunne heavygaa breakfast petti milk icchi pampinche vaallam, lunch as usual sarigga thinadhu school lo, so evening pickup cheskogaani fruits icche vaallam,then again milk and followed by dinner...food okkate kaadhu,once u shift from bottle to Cup right, the intake will come down and kids wont be interested to drink...but sarigga thaagatledhu,thinatledhu ani maname chesthoo pothe they will never learn them....so appudappudu alaa vadileyyatame even if they dont take properly..u cover this deficit by something else...like lunch own gaa sarigga thinaledante try to cover it with fruits after this etc...breakfast sarigga lekapothe cover with Milk..but leave atleast once a day to have on their own...intlo unna daaka feed chesthaam,school ellaaka paristhithi enti...
I would say right age for eating fruits,snacks, american foods by themselves is 2-3...for Indian foods (Rice),atleast 4-5 to pickup by spoon and eat.... |
