Appudu Edureka betetr yemo unless you have strong references en endorsing this company.

Three parts:

1. Admin Training : Edureka lo hadoop training baguntundhi. I did my certification after the 4 weeks training. I got 86%. Aman or Rahul. Ask them for these trainers. Life time support and life time access for videos. They have pretty much good support for all the time zones.

2. Hadoop JAVA developers: Cousin took training from India. The trainer is Somasekhar. I loved his training to the core. I cracked 3.5 hours interview after listening to his videos. I am like his eklavya sishya..!!!

3. Hadoop Data Developers: PIG/HIVE/HBase. English skills + SQL skills + Basic Edureka + Core Java = You can learn it on your own. Best text books available online and store.

Spark/Scala/AWS/Pyhton >> Need to check with Edureka


Finally jobs lo requirements lo anni asking..so top to bottom oka look aite kachitam ga kavali.

I have architect-ed very large implementations of Hadoop ..


BigData as a storage technology is getting mature by the day .. Cloudera Framework is very mature , HortonWorks is catching up ..

Now coming to skills .. Admin side involves Linux , Networking , clustering , good knowledge about HW , SAN etc etc + Hadoop Admin tooling

My back ground:Workign in a Bank as a SAS programmer.Not on analytics side, but as a reporting guy.Reasonably good in SQL.

My question:If I want to move to Hadoop, what skillsets do I need get? Is it advisable to go as admin or programmer?
