August 12 , 2015 | UPDATED 11:35 IST Now, it's almost six days since the film's release and it has been confirmed that Srimanthudu is a stupendous hit. So, what exactly is the point in calling it a 'super' film now? Well, if one looks at the hit formula of super hits in Telugu in recent times, then it is pretty obvious that any film made with tens of crores has some fixed elements.For starters, it will have an item song. And the item song will have either a Bollywood girl or a foreign find. Then there will be an episode of Brahmanandam for comedy. That apart, almost all songs or at least a couple of songs will be shot abroad. For this, the entire unit googles exotic locations that haven't used before.So, Srimanthudu has broken all these rules and has worked against the norm. The film has been made by Koratala Siva who has the experience of just one film, which of course was a huge hit, has given another sensational hit on a budget that is very low when compared to the range of Mahesh Babu. The story too is very simple. Yet, the film is a hugeee hit.Well, that's the reason behind Srimanthudu being SUPER. -
